Our ancestors are our physical blood line to our being. We carry their memories, traumas, their hurts and their sickness and we also carry their gifts, their strengths and their blessings.
About Your Teacher
Paul O’Halloran is a fully initiated igqirha (healer/shaman in the Xhosa tradition) and is known as Grey Elk (from the Cree Nation). Grey Elk has healed and rebalanced around 5,000 properties in person, mostly in Ireland. He has a very strong connection to the elementals (spirits) of the land and was guided to teach shamanism. The teachings of the shamanic courses are very much are led by Great Spirit and encourage you to develop your own medicine while showing you different techniques from Native American, Peruvian and African traditions. The Ancestral Healing workshop helps you to gently release those Ancestors and issues which are no longer serving your Higher Purpose.
About Healing the Ancestors
This workshop aims to connect you with your ancestors to heal and clear the ancestral lines of negative energies, sickness, recurring patterns, curses and traumas so that you can allow the strengths and gifts of your Ancestors to flow.
In healing and releasing our ancestors we create a new reality for ourselves and our children, where we can reach our full potential without being held back by the past. Sometimes we can go through life carrying burdens that are not ours to carry and in turn these can have a negative impact on our day to day lives and functioning.
Unbeknown to ourselves, we can be holding onto energies that have been stuck for many generations and passed through down through family ties. For example, feelings of being disconnected, loss of power, feeling stuck in our lives and not able to let go and move on of things. In the workshop, we identify and work to heal and release issues and difficulties that have been passed down through our lineages and which have been holding us back.
When we release these energies back to the universe in the proper way, our ancestors are free and we in turn are freed to live our lives to our highest divine order.

These workshops are designed to heal our ancestral lines, on both the mother side and father side as well as the miscellaneous ancestors (from the soul and past lives, in between lives or parallel lives) that walk in the middle. We learn how to make sure that they are in Heaven, and we learn the difference between the male and female lines and how to heal them.
We will also explore how it is all linked to your life and in doing so we will connect you with an ancestor who will work with you for the good of your Higher Self.
These workshops take place in Galway, Ireland & on the island of São Miguel, Azores.
The workshops vary in length, some are two full days and others are one day. There are occasional online Ancestral Healing workshops too. So please do check the events page for the event you wish to book so you can choose the right button! Thank you!

“From my heart I want to thank Paul for facilitating such a powerful workshop of ‘Healing the Ancestors’. I came to Galway for the weekend with an open mind and an open heart. For a good while I had felt that there was healing needed going back my ancestral lines as some patterns like heartache, loss and lack were persisting to pop up in my life...and they didn’t feel entirely mine...
I had done family constellations workshops in the past, which this weekend reminded me of a little; you help represent ancestors of other people, and when it is your turn to come up for healing others from the group help you. Nothing was ever forced...it just flowed. Some of the energies can be very heavy and very strong...but the space was beautifully held by Paul and the whole group. I felt really safe.
